For Parents of Competitive Athletes Ages 10-18

They Crush It in Practice. Then Freeze When It Counts.

There's a name for it. It's called the Mental Blindspot™, and this $5 book gives you the exact playbook to help your athlete close the gap between practice and performance.

Trusted by youth athletes and their families worldwide.

This is not motivation

This is high-performance mental training backed by evidence and real-world application.

Sound Familiar?

Your athlete puts in the work. Extra reps. Extra training. Extra everything. But when the game starts, something shifts. The confidence disappears. The mistakes snowball. And the car ride home is miserable for everyone.

It's not effort. It's not talent. It's a hidden gap between how they train and how they compete, and most families never learn how to close it.

Eric Stang

I am an Independent MPC Certified Coach with more than 20 years of experience coaching, scouting, evaluating, and developing athletes across the college, international professional, and elite high school levels. Throughout my career, I have worked with athletes in highly competitive environments where preparation, confidence, communication, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure are every bit as important as physical talent. My background in coaching and scouting has given me a unique perspective on what separates athletes who simply have ability from those who consistently maximize it.

What I enjoy most about mental performance coaching is helping athletes better understand themselves and giving them practical ways to handle the challenges that come with competition. Confidence can fluctuate, pressure can build, mistakes can linger, and expectations from coaches, teammates, family, and even athletes themselves can become difficult to manage. I enjoy helping athletes develop stronger routines, greater self-awareness, more productive responses to adversity, and the confidence to trust their preparation when the moment matters.

For me, MPC is a natural extension of coaching. I have always believed that developing an athlete means developing the whole person—not simply improving a skill or preparing for the next game. My goal is to help athletes become more intentional, resilient, confident, and mentally prepared so they can perform closer to their potential in sport while also developing skills that will serve them well beyond competition.

Your Athlete Doesn't Need More Reps. They Need This.

For less than a sports drink, you can give your athlete the mental tools that separate confident competitors from talented kids who can't get out of their own way.
